# U.S. Steel Real Estate — Creating a Global Brand

Braithwaite Communications' ongoing PR campaign for US Steel Real Estate's Keystone Industrial Port Complex (KIPC) is emerging as one of the great brownfield redevelopment success stories of the decade.

As with most economic development initiatives, the complexity of the story is difficult to translate to key journalists. We excel at creating a coherent story line from complex subject matter.

Internationally, site selectors and heavy industry real estate pros are buzzing about the KIPC. Buttressed by globally recognized media placements and innovative trade show presentations, the KIPC is attracting companies from around the globe - the site was literally the talk of the Fall, 2005 Industrial Asset Management Council trade show.

Braithwaite launched the site with a comprehensive public relations effort that is securing key placements in the industry trade press. In early summer, Site Selection magazine featured the KIPC on its cover, fully extolling all of the assets of the site. Additionally, an aggressive grassroots community campaign has helped to overcome neighborhood opposition.
